Please read these terms before using MouldVision. By starting a test you agree to them.

1. Who we are

MouldVision is provided by Biological Health Services Pty Ltd ("BHS", "we"), Level 1, 459 Toorak Road, Toorak VIC 3142, Australia. Concept and scientific lead: Dr Cameron Jones, PhD.

2. What MouldVision is

MouldVision is a visual contrast test for personal tracking and research. It shows patterns of faint bars on your phone and records which ones you identify. It reports what you were shown, what you answered, the conditions of the test, and a suggested next step.

3. What MouldVision is not

• It is not a medical test or medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat or rule out any eye disease, neurological condition, illness or injury.
• It does not detect mould, mycotoxins, or any other exposure, in your body or in a building. Whether a building has a mould problem is answered by sampling the building.
• It is not a substitute for an eye examination by an optometrist or ophthalmologist, or for advice from a doctor.
• It must not be used to decide whether a person is fit to drive, to work, or for any occupational, legal or insurance purpose.

4. Your health and safety

If you have any concern about your eyes or your health, see an optometrist or a doctor, whatever MouldVision shows. If your vision changes suddenly, for example blurring, flashes of light, new floaters, a curtain or shadow, or loss of vision, seek same-day medical care or call 000 in an emergency.

5. Who may use it

MouldVision is intended for adults aged 18 or over. It is not designed or checked for children.

6. Accuracy and limitations

Results depend on your phone, its screen and settings, the room, your viewing distance, your attention and chance. The test has not been validated against clinical instruments, and no normal range has yet been established for it. The suggested next step in each report follows published rules (guidance-v1-provisional) and may change as research data become available. We do not guarantee that any result is accurate or complete.

7. Your records

Your results are stored on your phone. They are not a medical record. You are responsible for exporting any record you want to keep; clearing your browser data or removing the app may delete them. How we handle information is described in our Privacy notice.

8. Our liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. To the extent the law allows, MouldVision is provided free of charge and as is, and BHS is not liable for any loss arising from decisions made on the basis of a MouldVision result instead of professional advice.

9. Intellectual property

The MouldVision name, software, reports, text and design are owned by BHS. You may use the app and share your own reports. You may not copy, resell or present MouldVision or its outputs as your own product.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the version number above will change, and the app will ask you to agree again. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
